this is a simple game which can be pretty humorous.

it's called "honey if you love me, please smile".

category is a stationary game, funny game, or icebreaker

Recommended age:  ages 14 and up

Number of players: anywhere from 8 to 20 works

No required materials.

ok to play "Honey I Love You" have everyone sit in a big circle, with one person in the center.  on any turn the person in the middle chooses someone to go up to and he or she says "oh honey, I love you, if you love me, won't you please give me a smile?" The person who was asked the question has to answer back "Honey I love you, but I just can't smile" (without laughing or smiling at all).  The person in the center can try to do ANYTHING to make the person laugh or smile, everything except the person can't touch them.  if the person chosen smiles or laughs, then that person becomes the new chooser in the center.

it can be funny to watch people "pretend" to be romantic and to try to get other peopel to laugh.

Enjoy

Oh, I have to be honest- I HATE this game. I am now a 26 year old, fun-loving extrovert and I still have nightmares about playing this in youth group.

WHY this game may not be a good idea:
1) Shy people HATE this game and will often feel isolated because they won't play it OR they feel humiliated by the game.

2) Teenagers and this game are not a good idea. every time we played this game, something inappropriate happened!
