Killer Wink (or Killer Scratch)

Here's another game since the deadline has been postponed!

Killer Wink

Category: slower-paced, fun, youth group type game
Suggested age: 11 and up
Number of players: anywhere from about 6-15.. if you have a larger group, just split up into small groups of numbers that fit into this range.
Any required materials: none, but everyone must be able to wink! (if you can't it's ok.. but you won't do a very good job! hee hee!)

How to play:
Ok, this is a pretty easy and fun game you can play multiple times in youth group or long van rides or something.
1. Everyone sits in a circle and closes their eyes and a leader will pick a "killer"
2. When everyone opens their eyes again, the killer is to make eye contact with as many people as possible and wink at them.
3. If the killer winks at you, you are dead, but you cannot say you are dead until about 5 seconds has gone by (you also cannot tell who the killer is)
4. The killer continues to wink at the others in a subtle way
5. If you see the killer wink at someone else (not yourself) then you raise your hand and call out the killer's name!
If you're the killer, the point is to get as many people out as possible before being caught and if you are a regular player, the point is to not make eye contact with the wrong person, but also watch for that "killer wink!" haha!! Wink

Here is another version:
Killer Scratch
In this version, everyone is walking around instead of sitting.
1. Every one walks around and shakes hands with everyone.
2. The chosen killer secretly gently scratches the palm of the hand they are shaking for the signal that they are now "dead". Tongue

3. If you are scratched, you must shake one more person's hand and then fall on the ground and "die"
4. Ok, you don't reallllllly have to fall on the ground and die! haha! but Do wait to shake one more person's hand to announce that you are dead
5. Same thing.. just try to "kill" as many people as possible or catch the killer!
